Broad Street Run: 40,000 Runners Ready for 47th Annual Race

40,000 runners will hit the streets of Philadelphia for the 47th annual Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run on Sunday, beginning at 7 a.m.

The nation's largest 10-mile race will take runners from Central High School Athletic Field to the Navy Yard. Road closures begin at 2 a.m., with no parking allowed on Broad Street between Olney Avenue and the Navy Yard until noon. chickenroadslot.pro

Public transportation is recommended, with runners able to ride the B Line for free using their race bib. Roads are expected to reopen by noon.
