BVB Legends Tour Anfield Ahead of Charity Match

BVB legends, including Langerak and da Silva, toured Anfield and met Liverpool fans ahead of a charity match. The game will benefit both clubs' foundations.

BVB legends – Mitch Langerak, Paul Lambert, Antonio da Silva, Jan Koller, Dede, Olivier Kirch, Karl-Heinz Riedle – toured Anfield, then visited Hotel Anfield where Liverpool supporters turned the pub into black and yellow for the nearly 300 BVB fans. The visit was followed by a friendly chat between the two sets of supporters, with da Silva and Langerak praising the turnout.

The legends will face Liverpool’s legends tomorrow at 15:00 GMT (16:00 CET). The match, streamed on BVB’s YouTube channel and on Sky, will raise money for the BVB Foundation “leuchte auf”, the LFC Foundation and Forever Reds. In addition, BVB’s walking football team beat Liverpool’s 15‑1 and 3‑1, with Manu Ponce scoring six goals and Wolfgang Klein named best player.
