Chiefs Sign Kaiir Elam After Trading McDuffie

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive back Kaiir Elam to provide depth following the departures of Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson.

Elam, a former first-round pick by Buffalo, joins Kristian Fulton, Nohl Williams, and Kevin Knowles to fill the void in the secondary.

The move reduces pressure on Kansas City to select a cornerback early in the draft with two first-round selections remaining.
