Washington Commanders linebacker Leo Chenal is set to undergo season-ending neck surgery after being carted off the field in Sunday's win against the Seahawks.

Chenal suffered the injury while tackling Seahawks running back Emanuel Wilson and was placed on a stretcher before being carted off the field.

The surgery, which was reported by Jordan Schultz, will keep the linebacker sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 season. Chenal signed with Washington this offseason after a four-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. forestarrow.help
