Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer revealed he emotionally 'wept' on the phone when trading star defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers.

Schottenheimer described the move as one of the hardest parts of a scheme change, noting that Odighizuwa is an incredible person and leader. 'I wept, we both wept on the phone together,' the coach stated at the NFL annual meeting. The trade comes as Dallas adjusts its personnel to fit a new defensive front.
