DTM driver Maximilian Paul has been confirmed with a lumbar vertebra fracture following his severe crash at the Norisring, with additional leg injuries also reported.

Three days after the severe DTM crash during Saturday's race at the Norisring, the full extent of Maximilian Paul's injuries has become clear. Team principal Gottfried Grasser confirmed to Motorsport-Total.com that the 26-year-old Dresden native suffered "a fibula and a tibia fracture as well as a lumbar vertebra fracture."
