Navy running back Eli Heidenreich is drawing comparisons to James White, Shane Vereen, and Danny Woodhead due to his undersized, receiving-focused skillset.

A hybrid weapon capable of lining up all over the formation, Heidenreich amassed 3,151 scrimmage yards during his career, including a school-record 1,994 receiving yards. The no-star recruit finished his time at the Naval Academy as a Second-team All-AAC selection.
