FIFA Accuses UEFA of Misinformation Campaign

FIFA has filed a court document accusing UEFA of conducting a "misinformation campaign" against President Gianni Infantino and trying to influence the upcoming presidential election. The accusation comes in response to UEFA's request to obtain testimony and documents for a planned criminal complaint in Switzerland over the abandoned Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) investment proposal.

Last month, UEFA asked a US federal court for permission to access materials related to FFE, which was a plan to transfer World Cup commercial rights into a subsidiary.
