The Washington Huskies’ coaching staff are bullish on freshman left tackle Kodi Greene, a 6‑foot‑6, 321‑lb former five‑star recruit from Mater Dei. Coach Jedd Fisch and OL coach Michael Switzer say his mental focus and work ethic set him apart, giving him a head start in a crowded depth chart with top transfer Kolt Dieterich sidelined early in camp.
If Greene continues to impress in spring practice, he could become the starting tackle protecting quarterback Demond Williams Jr.’s blind side by the season’s end.
