Hawaii Guard Aaron Hunkin-Claytor Enters Transfer Portal

Hawaii point guard Aaron Hunkin-Claytor plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal next month, his father confirmed. He aims to seek his value elsewhere despite having a good relationship with his current team.

Hunkin-Claytor, who started 29 games for the Rainbow Warriors last season, will join the portal when it opens on April 7. His father stated that about 15 schools have already expressed interest in the standout guard.

Despite the potential departure, Mario Claytor noted that the door remains open for a return to Hawaii. The 6-foot-1 guard was a highly sought-after recruit who turned down 17 offers to sign with the 'Bows in 2024.
