Honda chief says Aston Martin unlikely to jump ahead at Miami GP

Honda’s trackside GM Shintaro Orihara said Aston Martin will not achieve significant performance gains at the Miami GP, as vibration problems with the AMR26 persist.

Orihara admitted that the team’s progress in reducing vibrations and improving reliability will not translate into a noticeable power‑unit boost on track. Despite intensive static testing in Sakura, the AMR26’s handling issues remain a concern for drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, who have reported numbness in their hands and feet.

With the team still at the bottom of the standings after three rounds, Orihara urged realistic expectations for Miami, noting that any gains would come later in the season. piekny-pies.pl
