Ingason Suspended for Two Matches

Brann defender Kristall Mani Ingason will miss two matches after receiving a red card in the September 20 encounter against Bodø/Glimt. The Icelandic player scored Brann's opening goal before being sent off for a hard challenge on Patrick Berg.

Initially shown a yellow card, the decision was upgraded to red following a VAR review by the Norwegian Football Federation's disciplinary committee. The suspension means Ingason will be absent for the upcoming home match against Viking and away game against Vålerenga. The match also saw an altercation between Brann's assistant coach Eirik Huseklepp and Bodø/Glimt's Kjetil Knudsen post-match. amunra.qpon
