Jets Target WR2, QB, CB in 2026 Draft

The Jets, with a month to the 2026 NFL draft, are focusing on filling three key holes: a WR2 to complement Garrett Wilson, a long‑term quarterback solution, and a stronger secondary.

After adding veteran starter Geno Smith, defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat, and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in free agency, the Jets now have nine selections for the 2026 draft, including four in the top 50.

The team’s top priorities are a reliable WR2 to support Garrett Wilson, a franchise quarterback to replace Smith, and a stronger cornerback corps, as the Jets have not made major investments at the position in free agency.
