Lakers' Austin Reaves Out for Rest of Season with Oblique Strain

The Los Angeles Lakers announced that star guard Austin Reaves will miss the remainder of the regular season due to a Grade 2 oblique muscle injury.

Reaves sustained the injury during a game in Oklahoma City on Thursday and was subsequently ruled out following an MRI on Saturday. He joins teammate Luka Doncic, who is out with a left hamstring strain, in a significant blow to the Lakers' roster.

The 25-year-old guard has averaged 23.3 points this season and was a vital part of the Lakers' Pacific Division title run. With the playoffs approaching, Los Angeles must now navigate the final stretch without its top perimeter scorers.
