Saudi-backed LIV Golf has postponed its planned Louisiana tournament to the fall to avoid summer heat and the crowded sports calendar.

The LIV Golf Louisiana event, originally set for June 25-28, will now take place later this year. Officials cited the FIFA World Cup and peak summer heat as reasons for the strategic shift.
