Malachi Moreno to Test NBA Draft While Keeping Kentucky Option

Kentucky forward Malachi Moreno announced he will test NBA Draft waters while preserving the option to return to the Wildcats if he withdraws.

Malachi Moreno, 24, confirmed on Instagram that he will enter the 2026 NBA Draft but keep the choice to come back to Kentucky. The 7‑footer, who averaged 7.8 points and 6.3 rebounds last season, will receive scouting feedback while maintaining college eligibility. If he withdraws, he will re‑join the Wildcats for another season.
