Martin starts for England against South Africa

England have selected Saracens' new signing George Martin to start against South Africa in the inaugural Nations Championship, with Jack van Poortvliet also in the reshuffled team.

England have made five changes to the team that narrowly lost to France in Six Nations finale, with Martin tasked with filling the boots of absent skipper Maro Itoje. Van Poortvliet has been preferred to Northampton's Alex Mitchell and Bath's Ben Spencer at scrum-half. moryak.biz

George Furbank and Manny Feyi-Waboso return in the backline, replacing Elliot Daly and Tom Roebuck respectively. Tom Curry has been selected at flanker ahead of Guy Pepper and Henry Pollock for the opening match of the new Nations Championship.
