Panthers Target Klubnik as Young's Backup

Carolina Panthers are projected to select Clemson's Cade Klubnik in the sixth round of the NFL Draft to provide quarterback depth behind starter Bryce Young.

ESPN's Ben Solak suggests Klubnik could be available to the Panthers at pick 200. The former 5-star recruit has a strong arm with solid mechanics and excels at delivering deep balls, though he struggles with timing and anticipation.

The Panthers need a reliable backup after trading Andy Dalton to the Eagles, leaving only Kenny Pickett as the current QB2. Klubnik's top-tier recruit status and success at Clemson make him a potential fit as a rookie contract backup behind Young.
