Rams WR Puka Nacua in Rehab Amid Assault Lawsuit

Los Angeles Rams wide‑receiver Puka Nacua is currently in rehab, a period that began before a woman sued him for assault and battery after he allegedly made an antisemitic remark and bit her shoulder on New Year’s Eve.

Nacua entered rehab before the lawsuit was filed, according to his attorney Levi McCathern, who said the program was intended to improve his overall behavior. The woman claims he made an antisemitic statement and bit her shoulder during a New Year’s Eve celebration.

The 23‑year‑old, drafted in the fifth round of 2023, led the NFL with 129 catches last season and has 1,715 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He apologized in December after a livestream gesture that invoked antisemitic tropes and is now eligible for a contract extension with the Rams.
