Sean Dyche: I wouldn't have taken the Spurs job

Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists he was never approached by Tottenham Hotspur regarding their managerial vacancy. Speaking on talkSPORT, Dyche clarified that despite being in London when the position opened, he was never approached and would have declined the job.

The 52-year-old explained that while he spent time socially in the city, the rumors were purely speculation. Dyche stated he wouldn't take the job for financial reasons alone and feels his managerial style doesn't align with what Tottenham are looking for at this time.
