Spanish Cyclists Shine at Montreal Worlds

Benjamin Noval, a junior cyclist from Asturias born in October 2008, emerged as the star performer by winning both the time trial and road race events at the Montreal World Championships. His achievements echo those of former champion Remco Evenepoel who accomplished similar feats eight years ago.

Adding to Spain's success, Alejandra Neira from Santiago de Compostela claimed gold in the junior women's road race, while Héctor Álvarez secured bronze in the time trial and silver in the road race in the under-23 category. These results highlight the depth of talent in Spanish cycling's younger generation. rocore.sbs
