Stingley Gifts Dunham New Turf Field

Houston Texans' cornerback Derek Stingley is funding a new turf practice field for his alma mater Dunham School. Construction on the Derek Stingley, Jr. Field will begin in May 2026 and is expected to be ready by August for the 2026 Louisiana high school football season. michezonews.co.za

The 2019 Dunham graduate and 2018 Gatorade Louisiana Player of the Year stated he is happy to give back to the school that invested in him. The field will feature a synthetic surface, enhanced drainage systems, and space for football, PE classes, and athletic training. Dunham School ended the 2025 season with a 13-2 record and was ranked No. 38 in the final Louisiana High School Football Massey Rankings.
