The third stage of the Tour de France will proceed without fans amid wildfire concerns. The 195.5km route from Granollers to Les Angles begins at 11.10am BST/12.10pm CET. esporist.com
According to ex-racer and technical director Thierry Gouvenou, the stage features a category-one climb at Col de Toses (9.3km at 6.5%). The finale includes the Col du Calvaire near Font-Romeu and a final 1.5km climb to Les Angles at 7% gradient, offering attackers opportunities for stage wins and possibly the yellow jersey.
