The All Blacks have been forced to make changes to their starting XV for Friday night’s tour opener against the Stormers.
No 8 Wallace Sititi has been withdrawn from the team due to a mild illness.
As a result, Anton Segner comes into the starting lineup at openside flank with Peter Lakai moving to the back of the scrum.
German-born Segner made his Test debut off the bench against Italy in July and was also used as a substitite against Ireland a week later.
