Rohit: 2007 Final My Favorite Against Pakistan

Former India captain Rohit Sharma named the 2007 T20 World Cup final as his favorite match against Pakistan, while recalling feeling helpless during India's dramatic 2022 MCG comeback.

Rohit, who retired from T20 Internationals after 160 matches, highlighted the significance of India-Pakistan clashes in World Cups. 'My favourite T20 World Cup match against Pakistan was definitely the final we played, nothing can beat that,' he stated.

The 2024 T20 World Cup-winning skipper also recalled the 2022 MCG thriller where he watched from the dressing room as India chased down 160 after being reduced to 31/4. 'When games are this tight, especially when you're off the field and know you can't do anything, it just takes that sense of control away from you, and I felt helpless,' Rohit admitted, praising Virat Kohli's match-winning innings.
