Titans Could Target 49ers' DT Kalia Davis in Free Agency

The Tennessee Titans could pursue defensive tackle Kalia Davis after the San Francisco 49ers declined to tender him as a restricted free agent, making him available on the open market.

With the Titans needing defensive line depth after trading T'Vondre Sweat and losing Sebastian Joseph-Day and James Lynch to unrestricted free agency, Davis could be a valuable addition. The 49ers' defensive tackle started all 17 games last season, setting career-highs in combined tackles (28), tackles for loss (four), batted balls (three), and quarterback hits (two).

While Davis was a surprise contributor for the injury-riddled 49ers defense, his performance throughout the season made him an attractive option. The Titans have been connected to multiple defensive linemen this offseason, and Davis could be a cost-effective target to help bolster their defensive front.
