Bears' Dalman Retires at 27

Chicago Bears Pro Bowl center Drew Dalman has reportedly retired from the NFL at just 27 years old, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

After signing a three-year, $42 million contract with the Chicago Bears last March, the 27-year-old center has informed the team of his sudden retirement decision. Dalman left Stanford in 2021 and played four seasons with Atlanta before joining Chicago for one season.

The move comes as a massive surprise considering Dalman's age, recent contract extension, and on-field excellence, as he was selected to the Pro Bowl during his brief tenure with the Bears.
